Welcome! This is an exciting place, because here, you can buy Oz books, books by L. Frank Baum and other Oz authors, Oz activity books, cassettes, CDs, videos, even computer software, all at the click of your mouse button. I've tried to give you a wide selection to choose from, in all price ranges, so there's sure to be something you like. Oz books also make great gifts for the Oz fan on your shopping list! And I will try to keep it updated, especially when new books are published.

Dunkiton Press reprints short stories by Ruth Plumly Thompson and other Oz authors, and pictures by many Oz illustrators, in its annual anthology. They have also printed two addenda to Who's Who in Oz.

We've just done some remodeling around here, and added three new aisles, moving several items to them. This should make it easier to find items, as comics, electronics, and clothes and home decor now have their own aisles. Be sure to take a look.

Halloween Aisle

A special holiday aisle devoted to Oz costumes and Halloween-themed Oz and related books and videos.

Aisle 1 - The Oz books of L. Frank Baum

The books that started it all. The fourteen Oz novels by the original Royal historian of Oz (including numerous versions of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz), and other books Baum wrote about Oz.

Aisle 2 - The "Official" Oz books by other authors

The rest of the Oz series, by Royal Historians Ruth Plumly Thompson, John R. Neill, Jack Snow, Rachel Cosgrove Payes, and Eloise Jarvis McGraw and Lauren Lynn McGraw. Includes some of their Oz writings outside of the series.

Aisle 3 - Other Oz books

Many other writers have tried their hand at writing Oz stories outside of the regular series. Here is a wide selection of those that are currently available.

Aisle 4 - Non-Oz books by Oz authors and illustrators

The Royal Historians of Oz wrote other works as well. Many of L. Frank Baum's works were later tied into the Oz series. You can purchase some of what they've written here.

Aisle 5 - Oz comics and graphic novels

For those who prefer a more visual approach to their storytelling. From all-ages adaptations of the book to more grown-up fare.

It's the most watched movie in history, so of course there are many books about it. From the movie on video, scripts, music, and behind-the-scenes books, to postcards and cookbooks, if it's about The Movie, it's here.

Aisle 8 - Toys, Games, Books, and Adaptations

These products are specially selected for the kid in us all. Adaptations, pop-up books, coloring and activity books, books you cut up and make things with, and other fun stuff.

Aisle 9 - Electronics and software

If you want to enjoy Oz on your computer or by other electronic needs, this is the aisle you need to take a look at.

Aisle 10 - Dramatic Presentations

You don't have to just read Oz, you can watch it on your VCR, listen to it on your cassette or CD player, or see it on the stage. Find many of them here, as well as books and other items about them.

Aisle 11 - Clothes, Accessories, Jewelry, Food, and Home Décor

Now you can show off Oz on your clothes, how you decorate your home, and how you eat.

2009 Wizard of Oz calendar. Order early for this special calendar commemorating seventy years of the famous movie version.

The Bouncy Bunnies of Oz by Marin Elizabeth Xiques. The Thists, those diamond-headed thistle-eaters first introduced in L. Frank Baum's The Lost Princess of Oz, are back for adventure with three adorable young rabbits!

A Lion Among Men by Gregory Maguire. The third volume in Maguire's Wicked Years series. This one stars the Cowardly Lion.

The Road to Oz: Twists, Turns, Bumps, and Triumphs in the Life of L. Frank Baum by Kathleen Krull. A new biography of L. Frank Baum for younger readers.

Adrian: Silver Screen to Custom Label by Christian Esquevin. The story of Gilbert Adrian, the costume designer at MGM during the Golden Age of Hollywood, and how he influenced fashions around the world. OF course, one movie he worked on was The Wizard of Oz.

The Astonishing Tale of the Gump of Oz by Dennis Anfuso. The Gump (from The Marvelous Land of Oz) is back, and having new adventures.

The Magic Book of Oz by Scott Dickerson. What happens when a single word is accidentally erased in Glinda's great Book of Records? Changing the past is a big challenge to fix, especially when you don't know it happened, or how to undo it!

Lurline and the White Ravens of Oz by Marcus Mébès. Billy Bounce by W. W. Denslow. Bouncing from his 1901 weekly syndicated comic strip, W. W. Denslow gives the title character Billy Bounce his own fantasy novel, much like Little Nemo and his adventures in Slumberland. Denslow both wrote and illustrated this story. Reprinted for the first time since 1906!

When I Grow Up by W. W. Denslow. These poems, written and illustrated by L. Frank Baum's collaborator on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, have been collected and reprinted for the first time in decades.

The Wizard of Oz and Philosophy, edited by Randall E. Auxier and Phil Seng. A look at The Wizard of Oz from a philosophical perspective.

The Wicked Witch Project Special Edition DVD. Four friends go off in search of a witch in this satirical mash-up of The Wizard of Oz and The Blair Witch Project.

Encyclopedia of Collectible Children's Books by Diane Maclure Jones and Rosemary Jones. An encyclopedia on collecting significant children's books, including the Oz books.

The Cambridge Companion to the Musical (Revised Edition). An examination of the development of the musical, in both the United States and Great Britain, through a number of essays. This edition includes a case study of the development of Wicked for the stage.

Toto! The Wonderful Adventure series by Yuko Osada. Kakashi wants to leave his island home for adventures, but when he stows away aboard an airship, he gets more than he ever bargained for, once he adopts a dog named Toto and meets up with a girl named Dorothy. (And did you know that "Kakashi" is Japanese for "Scarecrow"?) This is the English translation of the Japanese manga series.

The Wizard of Oz, illustrated by Graham Rawley. An adaptation with some unusual photocollage-effect illustrations.

The Mysterious Caverns of Oz by Marcus Mébès. What happens when the ground opens up underneath some Emerald Citizens' home and swallows them up? Join Dorothy, the Sawhorse, Polychrome, King Bug of Noland, and the Hungry Tiger as they seek the rescue the trapped people and discover the mystery behind the Mysterious Caverns of Oz.

The Wish Express by Ruth Plumly Thompson. A boy and his dog take a magic trolley ride of the imagination through all kinds of adventures. This story, originally serialized in 1916, is the first ever complete collection of the entire story in book form.

The Patriotic Forest Folk by John R. Neill. In this story, animals celebrate Independence Day in their own way.

Tales of Magic Land 3: The Yellow Fog, and The Mystery of the Deserted Castle by Aleksandr Volkov, translated by Peter Blystone. At long last, the third volume of Blystone's translation of the original "Magic Land" books is complete! A yellow fog spreads over Magic Land and causes everyone to be sick. Then, aliens come and try to conquer Oz, using an old castle as their base.

Masters of the Art by March Laumer. Autobiography of March Laumer, author of several Oz books, focusing on two points in his life: hitch-hiking across country during his college years, and then his work as a butler in Greece later on in life. (Not suitable for children 18 or younger, as it includes sexual situations and harsh language.)
